South Shore Paddlers

We are an informal group of paddlers who kayak each week along Lake Superior. Twice a month we practice rescues and rolls at Long Lake or Lost Creek. For the safety of everyone in the group, paddlers who join us on the Lake Superior trips must bring a PFD (with whistle), wetsuit (or drysuit or hydroskin, depending on the water temps), and must know how to do a rescue and re-entry.
